obama 2008?
school is so busy.
today, i had to actually write out a list of all things I need to get done. I have 13 unchecked boxes on this list. its hanging in front of my face on the wall, so I know what i need to get done, all the time. So far its working. I'm motivated.

I'm constantly tired though. I'm in class all the time, and when i'm not, i'm at the hut. On the weekend, i normally try to do something fun friday night, and saturday during the day, just to take a little break, but then i'm playing catch-up on saturday night, or sunday after work. It's a weird schedule that I still haven't finalized.

Tonight, I went to the Boston Common with a new friend Mara, who i met in my Rhythm & Grooves ensemble. She's really nice, and we went together to listen to Barack Obama speak at his rally.



it was really really interesting and inspirational listening to him speak. he speaks with such intensity and hope. He speaks from a we position, to the people. Maybe its a tactic, maybe its truth. It was moving, nonetheless.

Based solely off his speech, and without looking any further into his ideals and/or agenda points, i'd say he'd be my ideal choice for a president. But to say that would be completely ignorant. I really want to know more about what he's about, and what he intends to do if/when elected.

But it was cool that he talked about how his opponets talk about how he's not fit for president because he doesn't know how to play the whitehouse game as well as some of them...and then say that he doesnt want to play games, and he infact wants to take the gameplaying out of the whitehouse. just points that really touch on the fact that America is a mess, and needs change...which I agree with.
